At Super Fun Happy Time we create playful, humorous design and animation. Located in Hobart, Tasmania we have a combined twenty five years of experience in creating design and animation for television and more.
We want to bring a little bit more happy to the world through our creative workshops, online software tutorials and collection of Tasmanian made goods.

Vivien Mason is a Tasmanian animator with a passion for handmade puppets and characters. Vivien’s stop motion animated film Handmade Happiness (2022) won Best Documentary at the Los Angeles Animation Festival and was selected for the Sydney Film Festival.
Vivien’s humorous historical animations are featured in Looky Looky Here Comes Cooky (2020) which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival and won best factual single documentary at AIDC 2021. Vivien’s work as Animation Supervisor and Animator for web series There Is No ‘I’ In Island (2021) received multiple ATOM award nominations including Best Animation.
Vivien has previously worked in post-production and VFX for studios including Animal Logic and Blue Rocket Productions. Vivien is a graduate of the Tasmanian School of Art (2010) and the Royal College of Art (2019) where she was subsequently a visiting lecturer.

Ben Stephenson is skilled in both humour writing and cartooning, and spent two years illustrating his own humorous articles for the Mercury newspaper section Attitude. Ben was the graphic designer for The Kettering Incident and has worked on seven television series’ for Blue Rocket Productions. Ben continues to hone his craft as a copywriter, script writer, and designer for Hobart startup Biteable.
